A new partnership between The Five Colleges of Ohio and the Partnership for Public Service creates a minimum of twenty-three paid government internship opportunities for Ohio Five students in Summer 2027.
Through the Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program, students from Denison University, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, and The College of Wooster will gain hands-on experience in public service while building professional skills and exploring career pathways.
Open to students from any major, internships may include work in data science, public administration, public interest technology, and AI policy. Participants will complete 10–12 weeks of full-time work with local, state, or federal government agencies, complemented by professional development and networking opportunities. Additional information about eligibility, campus information sessions, and the application process will be shared this fall.
“This partnership reflects what’s possible through collaboration,” said Tracy Rudisill, Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Five Colleges of Ohio. “It opens new pathways for students to gain experience, explore public service careers, and put their education into practice.”
Ohio Five continues to build partnerships that expand what’s possible for students across all of its member campuses.
The Five Colleges of Ohio is a consortium connecting Denison University, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, and The College of Wooster. Together, these five leading colleges maximize resources, expand opportunities, and create greater impact through strategic partnerships, undergraduate research and experiential learning, and collaboration that advances student success and institutional excellence.
