The Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program is now accepting applications for paid internships in federal and state government in summer 2027! Open to Ohio Five students from all majors, this 10-12-week program offers hands-on experience, professional development, and a pathway into government careers.
For Summer 2027, Future Leaders offers four internship tracks. Data Science, Public Administration, and Public Interest Technology tracks have focus on or will utilize AI, with projects ranging from research and policy to coding and tool development. The new Public Health track places interns on public health initiatives exclusively with California state government.
