The Department of Chemistry at Ohio Wesleyan University invites applications for a one-year term position beginning August 2022.
Responsibilities include course instruction and grading for lecture and laboratory courses for General and Organic Chemistry and other courses, depending on the needs of the department and the expertise of the faculty member. The teaching assignment consists of approximately 12 hours of direct student contact per week. The Chemistry Department is ACS certified, and further information about the department can be found at chem.owu.edu.
Ph.D. (or ABD) in Organic, Organometallic or Bioinorganic Chemistry or a related chemical field and a strong commitment to teaching are required. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Completed application packets will include:
