The Government Publications Department of the College of Wooster Libraries has provided free public access to U.S. government information since its designation as a federal depository in 1966. We currently receive approximately 30% of all publications available through the Federal Depository Library Program and base our selection profile on the needs of the college community and local patrons. Access and Location
The majority of the government publications received by the library are classified according to the Superintendent of Documents classification system and shelved on Andrews L 2. A small number of periodical titles, including the Monthly Labor Review and Business America, and some older documents are cataloged and shelved in the library's main collection. All of these materials are cataloged and displayed in CONSORT. Collection Strengths
The Government Publications Department maintains a collection varied in subject matter but specializes in documents from the following agencies:
The collection reflects the college's strengths in economics, history, political science, and geology. Patrons from the general public also make use of our statistical, legislative, and regulatory materials, including the Congressional Record and National Trade Data Bank. Contact Information
