Five Colleges of Ohio Board of Trustees Chair Sarah Bolton, President of The College of Wooster, announced today that Executive Director Sarah Stone plans to retire on June 30, 2022.

Stone, 64, will have served as Executive Director for five years upon her retirement, capping a career in development for higher education and cultural organizations that included a 13-year stint at Kenyon College as its Vice President for College Relations and head of its Kenyon Institute.

“We have deeply appreciated Sarah’s leadership and her strategic work to advance our consortium, and we are very glad to have one more year to work together,” President Bolton commented in her announcement. “Sarah has moved the consortium forward in a great many ways, strengthening our collaborations, building our work in diversity, equity and inclusion, enhancing digital teaching and learning through the CODEX project, and creating important new opportunities for our students, staff and faculty.”

A national search for Stone's successor will begin this summer.
